New - STAR-APIC event - 12th June 2008 STAR-APIC are pleased to announce that the STAR-APIC UK Event - “Managing and publishing spatial data” will take place on Thursday 12th June at Ordnance Survey, Southampton. This is a free one day event focussed on best practice in the management, integration and publication of spatial data. News - new appointment at STAR-APIC STAR-APIC are pleased to announce the appointment of Stuart Miller as Commercial Manager. He will concentrate particularly on the latest Mercator software for high quality map production. Mercator is used by major mapping organisations around the world including the Ordnance Survey, AA, Philip's and the RAF. The new Mercator DB software allows users of Oracle databases to produce the highest quality map output. Stuart has more than 20 years experience in mapping and geo-spatial technology having previously worked with Tenet Technology, Inovas, Laser-Scan, Reed Elsevier (Philip's) and APIC SA.
